Path traversal in affected Cisco Prime Infrastructure releases allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive operating-system files. The web-based management interface insufficiently validates user-supplied paths in crafted HTTP requests, allowing traversal outside the intended directory. Administrative web-interface privileges are required, and successful exploitation exposes certain sensitive files without changing data or interrupting service.
