Hard-coded credentials in Cisco Emergency Responder 12.5(1)SU4 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root. The affected release retains a development-only root account with static credentials that cannot be changed or deleted. Network reachability to the appliance is sufficient; no prior authentication or user interaction is required.
