CVE-2023-20096Network attack vector

Stored script execution via unvalidated management fields

Published Apr 5, 2023 · Updated Oct 25, 2024

Stored XSS in Cisco Unified CCX 12.5(1)SU2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in other users' interface sessions. The web management interface insufficiently validates crafted text entered into multiple input fields, stores it, and later renders it for other users. Valid interface credentials and a second user viewing the stored content are required; the injected script runs in that viewer's interface context.
