Scanning evasion in Cisco Secure Endpoint for Windows allows local users to bypass file quarantine through a component timing race. Cisco identifies a timing issue between unnamed software components but does not disclose the faulty synchronization operation. Exploitation requires local access, user-assisted file placement and execution within the timing window, and Windows Folder Redirection enabled.
