Unauthenticated root command execution via crafted web request

Published Mar 3, 2023 · Updated Oct 28, 2024

Command injection in Cisco IP Phones with Multiplatform Firmware before 11.3.7SR1 allows remote attackers to execute commands as root. The web-based management interface insufficiently validates crafted-request input before using it to form operating-system commands.
