Packet inspection interruption via TLS allocation logic error

Denial of service in Cisco Firepower Threat Defense Software 7.2.0 and 7.2.0.1 allows remote attackers to restart Snort 3. The TLS 1.3 implementation mishandles memory allocations under a specific timing sequence when processing crafted TLS 1.3 messages. Exploitation requires Snort 3 and an SSL policy with TLS 1.3 decryption enabled; the reload drops inspected packets before the engine restarts automatically.
