Authenticated sensitive-data disclosure via PnP RBAC bypass
Published Mar 23, 2023 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
Information disclosure in Cisco Catalyst Center allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive data through the internal PnP API. The PnP agent's RBAC integration lets a low-privileged account issue a query that returns protected information in clear text. Exploitation requires valid low-privileged credentials and a deployment configured for PnP to push configuration files to external network devices.
