Privilege escalation in Tenable.io, Nessus, and Security Center plugin feeds before #202306261202 allows local users to execute code. The impacted plugin resolves a binary through a filesystem location writable by a sufficiently privileged scan-target user, allowing substituted executable content to run. Exploitation requires high privileges on a scan target and user interaction during the impacted scan, and successful execution grants the plugin's elevated privileges.
