Stored XSS in Cisco Industrial Network Director 1.6.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute browser scripts. The application accepts content in malicious HTTPS requests without adequate validation and later renders it in the affected interface; Cisco does not identify the field or endpoint. An authenticated attacker must submit the value and a user must view the affected interface, enabling script execution in that browser context or access to sensitive browser-based information.
