Memory corruption in Cisco IOS XE's Cloud Management for Catalyst migration feature allows local users with high privileges to gain root access. Insufficient memory protection permits modification of Meraki registration parameters to corrupt protected memory. Exploitation requires local administrative access to an affected Catalyst 9200 or 9300 Series switch and yields root-level control.
