Authentication bypass via insufficient request validation

Authentication bypass in Cisco IP Phone 7800 and 8800 Series SIP Software allows remote attackers to access restricted web pages. The web-based management interface insufficiently validates user-supplied input in a crafted request before authorizing access to protected portions of the interface. The interface must be enabled and network-reachable; no credentials or user interaction are required, and access is limited to otherwise protected web-interface areas.
