CVE-2023-20010Network attack vector

Authenticated database compromise via SQL injection

Published Jan 19, 2023 · Updated Nov 21, 2024

SQL injection in Cisco Unified Communications Manager 12.0(1)SU1 through 14SU2 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data. The web-based management interface passes inadequately validated input into database queries, allowing crafted SQL syntax to alter query execution. A low-privileged application account is required; successful exploitation can expose or change any database data or elevate application privileges, without a reported availability impact.
