Open redirect in Mattermost Desktop App 5.2.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to direct users to arbitrary websites. The client accepts a Mattermost server redirection without validating its destination before navigating the application window. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and user interaction, and the established consequence is navigation to attacker-chosen web content.
