Stored script execution via unsanitized brand names
Published Apr 11, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Online Computer and Laptop Store 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a brand name. The brand-maintenance handler stores the Brand Name value without neutralizing HTML and later renders the saved value as executable markup. Access to the management site is required to plant the payload, and a later viewer must open the affected brand listing for script execution in that viewer's browser.
