Authenticated internal network probing via unvalidated iCalendar URLs
Published Aug 16, 2023 · Updated Oct 8, 2024
SSRF in wpdevelop Booking Manager before 2.0.29 allows remote authenticated users to probe internal services through crafted iCalendar URLs. The wpbm_get_ssl_page_content function fetches a shortcode-supplied URL without validating its destination, causing WordPress to issue arbitrary HTTP requests. Subscriber-level access to the parse-media-shortcode AJAX action is sufficient; response content or timing reveals internal HTTP services and open ports.
