Authenticated internal resource access via unchecked URL
Published Apr 10, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Server-side request forgery in yuan1994 tpAdmin 1.3.12 allows remote authenticated users to access internal resources via a crafted URL. The Upload.php remote() method reads the POST url value and passes it directly to File::downloadImage without validating the destination, then places the retrieved content under public/tmp/uploads. Authentication is required; the request executes from the server network and can expose resources that are unreachable to the requester directly.
