Database read and modification via injected subcategory ID
Published Apr 8, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Online Computer and Laptop Store 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data via the id parameter. The delete_sub_category action in classes/Master.php incorporates the request's id value into a database statement without neutralizing SQL metacharacters. Access to the management site is required; successful injection can expose or alter store data and disrupt database-backed operations.
