Authenticated database manipulation via subcategory SQL injection
Published Apr 8, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Online Computer and Laptop Store 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the Subcategory Handler. The save_sub_category action fails to neutralize SQL syntax in the sub_category request value before using it in a database operation. A management login is required; successful injection permits database data access or modification and can interrupt database-backed operations.
