Cache building via missing nonce validation
Published Apr 6, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in WP Fastest Cache 1.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to start cache building through a forged administrator request. The wpfc_preload_single_callback handler accepts the cache-preload action without correctly validating the request nonce. Exploitation requires an administrator to act on an attacker-controlled link, after which the plugin initiates cache creation without intended authorization.
