Crash and memory disclosure via unchecked crop bounds

Out-of-bounds read in LibTIFF tiffcrop 4.0 through 4.5.0 allows local users to crash the tool or disclose limited memory via a crafted TIFF file. During rotated section extraction, getCropOffsets fails to reject crop dimensions beyond the image boundary, so extractImageSection reads past its allocated buffer. Processing the malicious file with section extraction and 90- or 270-degree rotation is required; the resulting read can terminate tiffcrop or expose adjacent memory.
