CVE-2023-1899Network attack vector

Sensitive information disclosure via default cleartext web connection

Published Jun 12, 2023 · Updated Jan 6, 2025

Cleartext transmission in the Atlas Copco Power Focus 6000 web server allows attackers to read sensitive controller traffic. The server uses an unencrypted connection by default, exposing data exchanged between a user's browser and the controller to network monitoring. An attacker must be able to observe that network path; the documented consequence is disclosure of transmitted information.
