CVE-2023-1898Network attack vector

Unauthenticated session-data disclosure via guessable identifiers

Published Jun 12, 2023 · Updated Jan 6, 2025

Session-management weakness in Atlas Copco Power Focus 6000 allows remote attackers to read data from an active user's web session. The web server draws session identifiers from a small value space and accepts an attacker-supplied identifier when it matches an active session. Exploitation requires network access to the web interface and a live user session, but no authentication or user interaction; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of that session's data.
