CVE-2023-1877Public exploit

Arbitrary code execution via unescaped Blade delimiters

Published Apr 5, 2023 · Updated Feb 10, 2025

Command injection in Microweber before 1.3.3 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted first-name field. The XSS middleware cleans HTML but leaves Blade double-curly-brace delimiters intact, so stored first-name input is evaluated as a server-side template. Successful exploitation requires high privileges and user interaction; evaluated template code can read or alter server data and interrupt the service.
