Channel reset via missing clearKeys nonce validation
Published Apr 5, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Plugin Builders YourChannel 1.2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to reset plugin channel settings. The clearKeys function processes a state-changing request without correctly validating a WordPress nonce, so a forged request is accepted under an administrator's active session. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open an attacker-controlled link or equivalent content; the bounded result is loss of the saved channel configuration.
