Authenticated script execution via unneutralized employee input
Published Apr 5, 2023 · Updated Feb 10, 2025
Cross-site scripting in /admin/employee_edit.php in SourceCodester Online Payroll System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script. The endpoint processes an attacker-controlled request argument without neutralizing it for web-page output, but the public record does not identify the argument or exact output operation. A low-privilege authenticated user must submit the request and another user must render the affected output; the CNA limits the consequence to page-content integrity.
