Authenticated database access via caseid SQL injection
Published Apr 2, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Police Crime Record Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to query its database via caseid. The /officer/assigncase.php endpoint accepts the caseid GET value as executable SQL syntax; published error-based and time-delay payloads show the value changes database execution. An officer session is required, and successful injection can extract database results through errors or timing.
