Authenticated SQL injection via unneutralized perc parameter
Published Mar 31, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Grade Point Average (GPA) Calculator 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries. The get_scale function in Master.php inserts the perc request parameter into an SQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax. A low-privilege session is sufficient, and crafted perc values can read or modify SQLite data or interrupt database-backed operations.
