Agent data disclosure via silent encryption failure

Inappropriate error handling in affected Checkmk 1.6.0 through 2.2.0b3 releases allows remote attackers to read Linux agent data in plaintext. When symmetric encryption and Run agent as non-root user are configured together, the Linux agent silently continues after encryption fails and sends its monitoring output unencrypted. Exposure requires that incompatible configuration and a position able to observe the agent-server traffic; the flaw discloses agent output but does not alter monitoring data or service availability.
