Inadequate encryption in Canon IJ Network Tool 4.7.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to read sensitive Wi-Fi setup data. The software's printer-setup communications fail to protect sensitive Wi-Fi configuration data with adequate encryption, exposing it to network observation. An attacker must be connected to the same network as the printer; the reported consequence is disclosure, not configuration changes or interruption.
