CVE-2023-1750Network attack vector

Authenticated data exposure and modification via deviceId

Published Apr 4, 2023 · Updated Jan 16, 2025

Access-control bypass in affected Nexx Smart Home firmware allows remote authenticated users to read device data and alter settings via a deviceId. The cloud API uses the caller-supplied NexxHome deviceId for history, information, and settings actions without verifying that the device belongs to the caller. A valid deviceId and low-privileged access are required; affected firmware is NXAL-100 nxal100v-p1-9-1 and earlier, NXPG-100W nxpg100cv4-0-0 and earlier, and NXG-200 nxg200v-p3-4-1 and earlier.
