Database compromise via Report Search SQL injection
Published Mar 30, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in the Report Search endpoint of IBOS 4.5.5 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate application database queries. The affected /?r=report/api/getlist route passes attacker-controlled input into database processing, but public records do not identify the injectable parameter or query construction. A valid low-privileged account is required; successful injection compromises database confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
