Authenticated code execution via unsafe option extraction
Published Nov 1, 2023 · Updated Sep 5, 2024
Unsafe variable extraction in Bitrix24 22.0.300 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code on the web server. CUserOptions::GetOption returns attacker-controlled values that Export::init assigns to properties including filePath, which exportAction uses to append controlled contact data to existing PHP files. Alternatively, an authenticated user can upload a PHAR/JPG polyglot and pass its disclosed path to file_exists, triggering gadget-chain deserialization; either path runs code in the web-server context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
