CVE-2023-1713Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via attacker-named temporary file

Published Nov 1, 2023 · Updated Sep 5, 2024

Unrestricted file upload in Bitrix24 22.0.300 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code through Instagram import. Instagram::saveImage derives a temporary filename from an attacker-supplied image URL and downloads that content into the web-accessible upload directory. Any authenticated account can supply a crafted .htaccess file; on Apache with overrides enabled, it becomes executable as PHP and grants web-server code execution.
