CVE-2023-1710Network attack vector

Internal-note count disclosure via issue search

Published Apr 5, 2023 · Updated Feb 10, 2025

Information disclosure in GitLab 15.0 through 15.8.4, 15.9 through 15.9.3, and 15.10.0 allows remote attackers to obtain internal-note counts. The issue search response exposes an issue's internal-note count without enforcing the Reporter-or-higher permission used to protect the notes themselves. No account or user interaction is required; only count metadata is disclosed, not internal-note contents or write access.
