Authenticated cross-site scripting via composite-index key
Published Mar 29, 2023 · Updated Feb 12, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Pimcore before 10.5.20 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a composite-index key. ClassController::saveAction accepted an index_key containing unsafe characters, while the Classes interface lacked matching client-side validation. Class-definition access and a victim opening the affected administration view are required; the script runs in that victim's browser context.
