Adjacent denial of service via malformed Ethernet frames

Improper missing-value handling in Junos OS PFE on QFX10000 and PTX1000 devices allows attackers on the adjacent Ethernet segment to crash dcpfe. The PFE mishandles a missing value while parsing a specific malformed Ethernet frame, causing the dcpfe process to core. No authentication or user interaction is required; repeated delivery of the frame sustains the forwarding-plane service interruption.
