CVE-2023-1641Public exploit

System crash via unchecked IOCTL buffer length

Published Mar 26, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Denial of service in IObit Malware Fighter 9.4.0.776 allows local users to crash Windows through IOCTL 0x222018. ObCallbackProcess.sys fails to validate a user-supplied length before passing it as memcpy's size argument, allowing null input to trigger a blue screen. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access to invoke the driver, and successful exploitation interrupts the host with a system crash.
