Local system crash via malformed driver IOCTL

Denial of service in IObit Malware Fighter 9.4.0.776 allows local users to crash Windows through a crafted driver IOCTL request. The ImfRegistryFilter.sys handler for IOCTL 0x8001E04C searches the user-controlled buffer for a carriage-return and line-feed delimiter, then accesses uninitialized memory when that delimiter is absent. An ordinary local user can trigger a blue-screen crash, interrupting the entire system rather than only the security application.
