Authenticated server-side requests via unfiltered image URL
Published Mar 25, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SSRF in OTCMS 6.72 allows remote authenticated users to make the server request arbitrary URLs through the URL Parameter Handler. The AddOrRev path in /admin/info_deal.php accepts an unfiltered POST img value, passes it through SaveRemoteFile and GetUrlContent, and reaches curl_exec in UseCurl. Administrative-interface access is required; the server then initiates an attacker-chosen request, enabling access to network locations reachable from the CMS host.
