Authenticated device crash via malformed runtime command
Published Jun 26, 2023 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
Denial of service in affected WAGO controllers allows remote authenticated users to crash devices through the CODESYS V2 runtime. The runtime command parser accepts a malformed packet without adequately validating input consistency, causing the controller to crash. High-privilege runtime access is required, and a complete restart restores operation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
