Published Mar 23, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in DictController.java in xxyopen Novel-Plus 3.6.2 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries. The controller accepts the orderby request argument and places it into SQL ordering syntax without neutralizing SQL metacharacters. Access to the dictionary-list action is required; crafted ordering input executes attacker-controlled SQL with the application's database privileges.
