Administrator-session script execution via unescaped video URL
Published May 15, 2023 · Updated Jan 24, 2025
Reflected XSS in tagDiv Composer before 4.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser via a crafted request. The td_ajax_video_modal AJAX action returns the td_video_url parameter in the page without sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to submit the attacker's form, after which injected script runs with that browser session's access.
