Authenticated browser script execution via unneutralized U_NAME
Published Mar 22, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Medicine Tracker System Project E-Commerce System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script via U_NAME. The admin/user/controller.php?action=edit handler accepts the U_NAME value without neutralizing script markup before the value is rendered in a page. A low-privileged account and a separate user's interaction are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled JavaScript in that user's browser.
