CVE-2023-1550

Private-key disclosure via trace-level logging

Published Mar 29, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Sensitive-data logging in F5 NGINX Agent 2.0 before 2.23.3 allows local users to read private keys from agent logs. The agent's trace-level logging path writes private-key material into its log file rather than excluding the sensitive value. Exposure requires local permission to read agent logs and the non-default trace level; ordinary info-level logging is not affected.
