Database disclosure via unsanitized API login
Published Mar 21, 2023 · Updated Feb 26, 2025
SQL injection in Teampass before 3.0.0.23 allows remote attackers to read database data through a crafted API login value. AuthModel::getUserAuth concatenates the unescaped login value into a users-table SELECT query before validating the API key or password. Reachability requires network access to the Teampass API; no credentials or user interaction are required.
