Local kernel execution via unchecked MSR write

Improper access control in Wise System Monitor 1.5.3.54 allows local users to execute arbitrary code in the Windows kernel. The WiseHDInfo64.dll handler for IOCTL 0x9C402088 passes a user-controlled MSR index and value directly to __writemsr. Any normal local user able to open the driver device can write model-specific registers and gain kernel-level execution.
