Authenticated script execution via unsanitized balance ID
Published Mar 18, 2023 · Updated Feb 26, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Monitoring of Students Cyber Accounts System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim browser. The balancelist POST handler places the id parameter into generated HTML without neutralizing script markup. A valid PHP session is required, and exploitation takes effect only when a user loads the resulting page, allowing the script to act within that user’s browser session.
