Database disclosure and modification via injectable course ID
Published Mar 17, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Automatic Question Paper Generator System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data. The admin/courses/view_course.php handler incorporates the id GET parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, permitting appended UNION or time-delay clauses. A valid PHP session is required; successful exploitation exposes query results or forces database delays through the administrative course view.
