Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized id parameter
Published Mar 17, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Automatic Question Paper Generator System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data. The user-management endpoint passes the GET id value into an SQL statement without neutralizing quote or UNION syntax, enabling attacker-controlled query clauses. A registered-user session is required; demonstrated boolean and UNION requests expose database content and can disrupt database-backed functions.
