Database disclosure via unneutralized GET parameter
Published Mar 17, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Medicine Tracker System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a crafted GET request. The medicines/view_details.php endpoint passes the id parameter into an SQL query without neutralizing quote and UNION syntax. A valid application session is required; demonstrated UNION and time-delay payloads expose query results and permit database inference.
